With a career spanning almost 20 years and a broad range of experience in all aspects of civil engineering, Ken brings a well respected record of practical knowledge and achievement to his role of Civil Design Manager – Townsville.
His experience in residential, commercial and industrial subdivisions, road construction, hydrology and civil infrastructure has brought to STP Consultants a wealth of knowledge and experience. Ken has a proven track record in the design and construction of civil engineering projects.
Background & Experience
Qualifying as a drafter in 1983 from Swinburne Institute of Technology and then going on to graduate as a Civil Engineer from Monash University in 1991, Ken established a reputation as a practical and approachable civil engineer. He joined STP Consultants in 2008 as Civil Design Manager after eight years as Infrastructure Co-coordinator for the Townsville City Council.
Ken’s practical approach to all engineering projects makes STP Consultants the firm of choice for developers or contractors. With experience in all aspects of civil engineering including multi-residential, commercial and industrial, mining and government, together with a hands-on approach to constructability, his accessibility and approachable nature, Ken is a valued asset.

Matthew is an experienced Civil Designer with over 9 years technical experience in the Civil Engineering Industry. Matthew has advanced skills in master planning, civil design and drafting, inspections, construction supervision and project co-ordination.
