Carlyle Gardens Retirement Village, Townsville, Queensland – Prime Trust

In the ongoing expansion of the Carlyle Gardens retirement Village, the Prime Retirement Group has chosen STP for the civil design and construction supervision for Stages B to H. The group title subdivision comprises some 400 stand-alone homes in a village environment.

This suburb within a suburb is fully serviced with underground power and communications, water supply and sewerage to the rear of each home.Environmentally friendly bio-swale drainage completes the package, discharging treated storm water to the landscaped drainage corridor.

Montana

Montana, Townsville

The Honeycombe Property Group

Montana is a 126 lot residential subdivision being developed by The Honeycombe Property Group Pty. Ltd. on behalf of landowners Calvary Temple.

STP Consultants were appointed as the Civil Engineering Consultant for the project and have been responsible for the design of the civil infrastructure as well as providing construction management and supervision to the developer. The expected completion date is late 2008.

This project included a high environmental component in the retention of an existing creek corridor containing valuable native vegetation.

Promenade Apartments, Fairfield Waters

Hedley Constructions

This development is a mixture of 194 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units on a 6ha site.

The works included extensive filling to raise this flood-prone site above the 50 year inundation level and incorporates a landscaped drainage corridor to channel the large external catchment.

Interceptor pits are provided throughout the paved parking and access areas ensuring that storm water discharge from the site meets current environmental standards.
