Completed works for the extensions to the Eastern, Northern and Southern Grandstands. Also completed associated works to facilities and the pedestrian bridge.
Eastern Grandstand
This grandstand was doubled in length from original size. There were eight (8) additional full length rows of seating to the rear, with another three (3) additional full length rows of seating to the front.
It required analysis of the existing frame and new frame and was structural designed for cyclonic wind loads, crowd loading and frequency analysis.
