Atherton International Club Refurbishment & Extensions | Current | Atherton International Club is currently undertaking a staged redevelopment and extension to the existing club facilities. The proposed works are broken up into 2 stages. Stage 1 included the new gaming room, DOSA, function room, refurbishment and inclusion of a new lounge area. During Stage 1 the upgrade included to existing services for Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Fire. Stage 2 included the refurbishment and extension of dining room to include the completion of Fire services for the increase of floor area. STP Consultants were engaged for the Design and Documentation as well as the reconfiguration of carparks and driveways to allow for increased building footprint in both stages. During the stages STP Consultants were faced with challenges which included the gaming room to remain operational throughout the build and we were required temporary power/data solutions to allow decanting of existing facility during Stage 1 building works. The housing is designed to offer low maintenance, family style homes through cutting edge design to maintain and meet the community changing lifestyle.With 300 days plus of sunshine a year in Townsville, the homes were designed to capture the outdoors and allow for an open plan design to enhance the liability of each home. With an array of floor plans available, the houses include generous size bedrooms, economic kitchens, secure 2 bay carparking, Master Suites with walk-in-robes, plenty of storage with designed low maintenance landscape gardens. Haven has included everything a family would want in the eco friendly home. STP Consultants were involved in the whole development to design and create an oasis for the community of Townsville. The challenges STP Consultants faced with was converting the existing strip of shopping centre with an inflexible structural system to a modern childcare centre and upgrading the current tenancies. Berlasco Court Redevelopment | Current | Berlasco Court Redevelopment is a newly developed aged care facility budgeted at $10 million located in the Indooroopilly. Tully Nursing Home | Current | STP Consultants were engaged in the Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Fire services to extend the existing Residential Care Facility. The facility will add an extra 20 additional beds on the western side of the facility. The additional resources will allow the facility to cater up to 52 beds. The extension consisted of two separate wings being House A and House B. House A consisted of 10 beds, each paired with an associated ensuite, sitting area, storage areas, dining room, server and lounge room. House B mirror House A with the two buildings linked by a covered walkway. Our Fire Services also undertook a Fire Sprinkler Audit on Tully Nursing Home. In early 2018, STP Consultants were engaged to undertake the consulting engineering for the Aviation Visitor Attraction (AVA) including Structural, Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic services. STP Consultants works closely with STEA Astute Architecture to develop the schematic design, design development and contract documentation. The purpose of the Aviation Visitor Attraction (AVA) is to be used as a multipurpose facility providing to the Upper Hunter Region with unique aviation attraction which includes a café, gift shop and interactive aircraft display.
