Atherton International Club Refurbishment & Extensions Current Atherton International Club is currently undertaking a staged redevelopment and extension to the existing club facilities. The proposed works are broken up into 2 stages. Stage 1 included the new gaming room, DOSA, function room, refurbishment and inclusion of a new lounge area. During Stage 1 the upgrade included to existing services for Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Fire. Stage 2 included the refurbishment and extension of dining room to include the completion of Fire services for the increase of floor area. STP Consultants were engaged for the Design and Documentation as well as the reconfiguration of carparks and driveways to allow for increased building footprint in both stages. During the stages STP Consultants were faced with challenges which included the gaming room to remain operational throughout the build and we were required temporary power/data solutions to allow decanting of existing facility during Stage 1 building works. During the initial inspection we required to have careful consideration of how to tie in new structure and services while maintaining an operation of the facility during construction. Edison Street Child Care,Wulguru Townsville Current STP Consultants design and developed the redevelopment of Edison Street Child Care Centre located in Wulguru, Townsville. The redevelopment was using the existing strip of shopping centre to develop into a Child Care Centre with the use of additional specialty shops. The challenges STP Consultants faced with was converting the existing strip of shopping centre with an inflexible structural system to a modern childcare centre and upgrading the current tenancies. The purpose of the Aviation Visitor Attraction (AVA) is to be used as a multipurpose facility providing to the Upper Hunter Region with unique aviation attraction which includes a café, gift shop and interactive aircraft display. Ozcare Toowoomba Current Ozcare Toowoomba started construction in July 2017 consisting of a new 150 bed aged care facility . The facility will follow the best practice design of Hervey Bay predominatly on four storeys, featuring single rooms with its own private ensuite and balcony. The facility will incorporate two wings, one being dementia orientated to include special care for those residents as well as another winf to include common areas of sitting, dining and lounge room. Berlasco Court Redevelopment Current Berlasco Court Redevelopment is a newly developed aged care facility budgeted at $10 million located in the Indooroopilly. The newly constrcuted aged care facility is set on 7 storey including roof top/entertainment area. Ground level consists of underground carparking to include airconditioning and ventilation, multipurpose area, speciality including cafe, hairdresser, sitting area for customers as well as 8 single bed accomodation. Level 1 – 4 contains 108 single bed accommodation with general common areas including dining, lounge room, sitting area and administration areas. Level 5-6 consists of independent supported living apartments which contain either one or two bedrooms. Tully Nursing Home Current STP Consultants were engaged in the Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Fire services to extend the existing Residential Care Facility. The facility will add an extra 20 additional beds on the western side of the facility. The additional resources will allow the facility to cater up to 52 beds. The extension consisted of two separate wings being House A and House B. House A consisted of 10 beds, each paired with an associated ensuite, sitting area, storage areas, dining room, server and lounge room. House B mirror House A with the two buildings linked by a covered walkway. Our Fire Services also undertook a Fire Sprinkler Audit on Tully Nursing Home. Carinity Aged Care – Brookfield Current Carinity Aged Care – Brookfield development is being built on the existing Carinity site to increase the number of aged care and retirement options. The development of stage one consists of 96 – suit, hotel style residential aged care building over a 5 year period. Currently, STP Consultants is constructing 16-bed special unit facility including a 16-bed step down unit with an integrated 64 high care beds. Murroona Gardens – Bowen Current STP Consultants’ engaged in the Murroona Gardens in 2016 along side Paynter Dixon for the newly constructed aged care facility located in Bowen. The facility consists of the redevelopment of a road, new aged care facility (consisting of 32 bedrooms). The facility also includes a new kitchen and new laundry. STP Consultants also conducted a due diligence report.
