Project Description

State Government awarded funding in early 2016 for a $1 million upgrade to the Mount Isa Fire and Rescue Station. The facility located in West Street will undertake an upgrade to provide and enhance there current facilities to boost firefighters capability to keep the local community safe. The works include demolition of two existing residences, civil works for new hardstand areas and the construction of a storage facility for vehicles and equipment, adjacent to the existing Mount Isa Fire Station consist of 2 components where STP Consultants are engaged in both, one being the Electrical Audit & Report, Geotechnical Terms of Reference and the Office Building Upgrade. The office building upgrade is currently undertaking phases including Schematic Design, Design Development, Contract Documentation, Tender Review and Construction Phase for Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic services.
